K-ON!! episode 7 review

This episode starts of with Nodoka doing something with books, my guess is she's probably arranging them. She sees a card with Mio's picture on it - it's a membership card for Mio's fanclub. Heh, looks like my command of kanji is not THAT bad heh ;P - and she looks out of the window. She then narrates: "Dear Sokabe-senpai, how's your summer going? I'm writing because I have something to tell you."

[OP starts]

When the OP is over, we see Mio looking over her shoulder. Yui asks what's wrong and Mio replies that she got the feeling that someone was watching her - o.O STALKER O.o - the whole day, to which Tsumugi replies that it's because she's popular. Mio says it's not that feeling but the feeling that someone's STALKING - See?! What did I tell you? O.o STALKER o.O - her. The other 3 then close in and staring at her and Mio exclaims for them to stop. Ritsu says that Mio's being too self-conscious.

Then the camera moves a step forward o.O [cue scary music]

Mio says she's serious, turns to Tsumugi and Yui and tells them: "Even now, it feels like someone's watching me."

Ritsu turns towards us (i.e. the people watching the anime) first followed by Yui and Tsumugi both and all the while the camera is taking steps forward O.o

Then Sawaka covers Mio's eyes, to which Mio "whites out".

Mio repeats her predicament to Sawaka - turns out the STALKER wasn't Sawaka - and Yui says that it's Ton-chan who's STALKING her. Yui then comes up with a ridiculous reason about Mio being afraid of Ton-chan and not playing with him and therefore Ton-chan sticks to her back. What?? Azusa then stands up for Mio, exclaiming that it could really be a STALKER.

Tsumugi does a Kindaichi-esque speech and announces that the door is the STALKER. She apologizes for the speech but claims that she DID solve the mystery. She confirms with Mio that Mio ate yakisoba bread in the morning, to which Mio replies that she woke up late and had to buy breakfast to school. Tsumugi then asks if it was 20% off. Mio is shocked and asks how she knew that. Tsumugi then pulls off a "20% off" sticker off Mio's hair. Sawaka then exclaims that it was because that sticker was on Mio's hair the whole day, people were staring at her.

Mystery solved!

Then we hear Nodoka asking someone if they were peeking at them. 2 girls then pushed open the door in shock. They exclaim that they are by no means anyone suspicious but instead members of Mio's fanclub, in which the girl on the right holds up a card that Nodoka saw at the start of the anime. Mio collapses on the table and says that she was trying to forgot about the fanclub.

It turns out that the 2 girls heard from other members Mio had a sticker on her hair and the both of them wanted to see it. Stuff happens and Yui says that she thought they were doing it on purpose. Turns out Yui knew all along the 2 girls were following Mio lolz.

Stuff happens and Ritsu tells the history of Sokabe-senpai and the Mio Fanclub to Azusa. And as more history is told, it is revealed that Sokabe knew too much about the keion club. More history is told and at the end, it's revealed that Nodoka took over the position of president of the Mio Fanclub. After Nodoka explains, she requests for the club to host a tea party for the fanclub. Yui, followed by Ritsu, followed by Tsumugi, all readily agree to it. Azusa is making the posters and Tsumugi exclaims that she'll be bringing a giant cake.

I don't normally do this but here's a sneak of the 2nd part:

The next day, all sorts of "Mio-merchandise" appeared. Mio-chan pencils, Mio-chan erasers, Mio-chan tissues, Mio-chan chocolates, Mio-chan can openers (what??), Mio-chan chopsticks and Mio-chan backscratchers (for the 2nd time: what??). Oh, and Ui baked Mio-chan cookies.

I'll stop here hahaha XD

Oh, and let's say good/epic-ly funny stuff happens during the tea party. Especially the scene where Azusa and Mio cut the giant wedding cake. Look at their facial expre- damn. I just told you the good/epic-ly funny part right? The one where Azusa and Mio cut the gia- damn. I did it again, didn't I?

Oh, a new song - Pure-Pure Heart - is also performed. It's a nice song with meaningful lyrics. I just love songs where the lyrics actually mean something... /drool
