Some information about Mikupa 2011:
Mikupa 2011 is organized and produced by 5pb. Inc., who brought you the Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate games. Perhaps they’re more known for their manufacturing of the Memories Off series produced by KID.

Imho, I think this concert sucks ._.

5pb. Inc. didn’t put as much effort into animating the Vocaloid models as SEGA did for the 39 Thanksgiving Concert.

My reasons being the following:
1. Models look similar – if not exactly the same – to the Project Diva PSP game. Rehash much...?
2. Models underwent terribad vectoring, hence the pixellated look.
3. Models also move similar – if not exactly the same – to their game counterparts; hair polygons were too little, resulting in unnatural and abnormal hair movement. Fingers do not have individual polygons, resulting in fingers moving like a box and in a bunch. I COULD GO ON but because little people understand and appreciate CGI animation I shall not.
4. Even though they animated songs which previously did not have 3D CGI animations – songs like Rolling Girl, No Logic etc – imho they friggin blew it. Why? Refer to Reason 3 which is only just above.

All in all, this concert just sucks compared to SEGA’s concerts. Regardless of all these flaws, I’d still recommend you to watch it as you get see 3D CGI animations for songs that previously did not have animations whatsoever as well as the musicians enjoying themselves up on stage playing the songs.
